# Munshi

> Munshi (https://askmunshi.ai) is an AI back office for Indian small and medium businesses. Owners say what needs doing in Hindi, English or Hinglish ("Bas bolo. Munshi kar dega.") and Munshi does the work, with the owner approving anything important. Munshi is currently in early access.

## What Munshi does

- Voice first: hold to talk or call hands-free; understands mixed Hindi/English, trade slang and half sentences.
- Bills to books: photograph a supplier invoice or handwritten parchi; Munshi reads vendor, GSTIN, HSN codes, items and taxes, files the purchase, updates stock and posts accounts. GST and HSN aware, Tally sync, GST filing tracker.
- Quotes and sales: one sentence becomes a branded quotation; customers e-sign online and the order, invoice and dispatch follow. Sales pipeline and online store orders.
- Business insights: ask questions in plain language ("Is mahine ki sales?") and get charts, a dashboard and a morning brief on WhatsApp.
- Customers (CRM): Customer 360, smart segments, festival campaigns (Diwali, Eid…), loyalty and referrals, WhatsApp replies round the clock, polite payment reminders.
- Online presence: generates a website, product catalog, enquiry forms and online store on the business's own domain; enquiries land in the CRM.
- Agents: owner-defined automations, e.g. "payment 30 days late → WhatsApp reminder", "stock below reorder level → draft a PO".
- Control: approvals, role-based access, audit trail, encryption and backups.
